Job summary

Bunzl Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Sales professional to expand sales within existing accounts and develop new business opportunities.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, account management, and the ability to tailor safety solutions for diverse customers. The successful candidate will manage relationships, participate in regular meetings with the sales team, and leverage CRM tools to drive results while contributing to branch KPIs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• 3-5 years of industrial sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of the industrial sales market.
• Outstanding customer service and team-work abilities.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales through deeper penetration in existing accounts and by pursuing new accounts.
• Maintain high customer service standards in every interaction.
• Develop positive, long-lasting buyer relationships through CRM.
• Attend sales meetings and collaborate with the sales manager regularly.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor safety solutions for each customer.
• Contribute to team KPIs for individual and branch performance.

Responsibilities:

• Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts
• Ensure our high Customer Service Standards are met or exceeded during every interaction
• Customer relationship management; develop positive, long-lasting buying relationships
• Attend sales meetings and meet with sales manager on a regular basis
• Problem solve and the ability to conduct needs analysis on a customer-by-customer basis to ensure appropriate safety solutions are found and employed
• Contribute to the team to ensure key performance indicators are met on an individual and branch basis

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Post-Secondary education preferred
• 3-5 Years of Industrial Sales Experience (Experience specifically in the Safety sector a plus)
• A strong knowledge of the Industrial Sales market is highly preferred
• Requires outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties
• Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management and negotiation skills
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication skills
• Demonstrate a friendly and professional appearance
• Proficient use of customer database systems and contact management software
• Possess established skills to work with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word (previous experience with CRM database ACT! and an ability to learn new computer-based programs easily are assets)
