Job description

G2S Tobeq, a wholesale distributor of tools and equipment, services the automotive, heavy-duty, industrial, agricultural and marine industries, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets within British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and prospects.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through various sales methods (e.g., cold calling, door-to-door, networking).
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services.
  • Manage and track sales activities using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Provide post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Provide price quotes, and assist customers with order issues.
  • Maintain regular sales / territory updates.
  • Report results / opportunities to VP of Sales.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive, Heavy duty, or Industrial Outside Sales Representative or similar role (required).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field (an asset).
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Experience and knowledge with tools and equipment (an asset)
