The Opportunity

Hansler Industries is looking for an ambitious Outside Sales & Rentals Representative to join our team in Kitchener or Cambridge, Ontario . As the Outside Sales & Rentals Representative, you will have the opportunity to increase revenue with existing customers while building your customer base in your assigned territory.

As a Sales & Rentals Representative, your key responsibilities will include :

  • Leading the sales and rental strategy in your territory, including managing target accounts, prospecting, and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
  • Retaining and growing business relationships with top accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions to customers.
  • Turning leads into sales and negotiating prices to make deals.
  • Identifying and building relationships with decision makers within existing accounts, creating an ongoing relationship strategy.
  • Reviewing and providing input on target customer opportunities while ensuring alignment within the overall account strategy.
  • Forecasting, delivering, and adjusting accounts to ensure success against contract terms.
  • Collaborating with product experts to identify and capitalize on expansion and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Following up with customers on orders, quotes, and service requests.
  • Sourcing competitor information and analyzing competitor product offerings, application, and pricing to overcome client objections and guarantee sales.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies :

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a comparable sales role.
  • Proven sales ability and strong prospecting skills.
  • Experienced and confident in cold calling.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.
  • A self-starter with a willingness to learn and overcome challenges.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required; ability to travel throughout the territory as needed.

The base pay range for this role is : $40,000 annual salary, plus initial bridge salary and uncapped commission.

This is an onsite role based in Kitchener or Cambridge, Ontario .
