The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) is the democratically elected National Government of the Red River Métis, also known as the Manitoba Métis. The Red River Métis are a distinct Indigenous Nation and People, and Canada's Negotiating Partners in Confederation and the Founders of the Province of Manitoba.
The MMF seeks to fill one full-time Outreach Worker position located in Portage la Prairie, MB. The Outrearch Worker's prime objective is to enhance the services and resources within their region, through direct outreach to their community. The incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of resources by developing strategies and action plans designed to ensure culturally sensitive delivery of services and programs to Red River Métis Citizens.
