• Current First Aid / CPR Certificates required.
• Experience with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Job description

Participate in regular staff meetings and functions as an active team member.

Deliver services according to agency policy and procedures.

Maintain related documentation using agency-approved software and provide reports as required.

Make recommendations to the supervisor regarding program development, policy and procedure formulation, and program evaluation.

Purchase and monitor food supplies according to approved budgets.

Assist with facility maintenance, food preparation, and expenditure planning.

Participate in agency committees upon request of the program manager.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required.

Liaise and work collaboratively with the program advisory committee, community service providers, and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals, and represent the organization in external events.

Coordinate community involvement in program activities.

Prior to employment, all applicants must provide a current (dated within 6 months of hiring) Criminal Record Check and Ministry Check. These checks can take up to 6 weeks to obtain, so please prepare accordingly.

As An Ideal Candidate, You Possess :

• A degree or diploma in related humanities or social sciences.
• Minimum three years of related experience.
• Valid class G driver’s license, proof of insurability, and reliable transportation.
• Current First Aid / CPR Certificates.
• The ability to develop, implement, and manage outcome-based programming.
• Experience with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
• Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
• Ability to plan and implement changes based on client needs and environmental influences through interdisciplinary case management.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities and promote cooperative work environments.
• Knowledge of best practices, relevant legislation, policies, and standards related to service delivery.
• Ability to organize, prepare, and edit correspondence, reports, and documentation.
• Strong conflict resolution, mediation, and crisis intervention skills.
• A commitment to quality assurance.
