Join the Prince George Native Friendship Centre as an Outreach Counsellor, providing client-centered counselling services within their Native Healing Centre and supportive housing. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Work, trauma-informed care knowledge, and a commitment to culturally responsive support. This full-time role offers a wage of $32.00 - $34.00/hour and benefits including full medical and RRSP plan.

Outreach Counsellor (Full Time/Term to Feb. 2027)
Native Healing Centre - Health Services
You will provide 1:1 counselling services, and workshops to clients within our supportive housing developments as well as our Native Healing Centre. You will be in providing client-centered counselling to individuals who need mental health supports but who are experiencing accessibility challenges. Your approach should embrace harm reduction practices, culturally responsive support, trauma-informed practices, and an overall holistic approach to mental well-being. This position will be based out of the Native Healing Centre and within our Supportive Housing Department.
