What you’ll do:
  1. Lead and create a best-in-class customer experience by connecting customers with the world's biggest and best home online assortment in our stores.
  2. Master our brand story and communicate it professionally and polished.
  3. Handle impromptu visits from press, investors, or stakeholders effectively.
  4. Provide leadership to meet or exceed sales, payroll, and expense goals.
  5. Maintain leadership presence through effective floor management and resource allocation.
  6. Identify customer needs and balance operational requirements to meet standards.
  7. Build a high-performing, customer-centric team across all channels.
  8. Motivate and train associates in sales, customer service, operations, and product knowledge.
  9. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous feedback.
  10. Recruit, hire, and retain a salesforce that delights customers and drives sales.
  11. Develop team skills and talent for succession planning.
  12. Build a talent pipeline to meet sales and customer experience goals.
  13. Manage store operations, inventory, and visual merchandising standards.
  14. Use sales analytics to drive profitability and growth.
  15. Develop and implement a long-term growth, visitation, and profitability plan.
  16. Lead with good judgment, ethics, security, and compliance.
  17. Promote a resolution-oriented environment.
  18. Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  19. Assess competition and retail trends to inform strategies.
  20. Live by and guide the team with our People Principles.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Stand, walk, talk, and hear frequently.
  2. Handle, feel, reach with hands and arms regularly.
  3. Occasionally sit; climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  4. Visual abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Schedule:

Schedules vary due to retail nature; schedules are provided at least 2 weeks in advance with opportunities to trade shifts.
