Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a general laborer at our Nova Scotia site to perform track cleaning, yard work, and operation of site vehicles. You will follow safety policies and support facility maintenance tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, perform basic math and communicate with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform duties with limited supervision.
• Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform job.

Responsibilities

• Clean tracks on track type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment (water trucks, sweepers, mowers, etc.).
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs as needed.
