Job summary

Parks Canada Jasper Field Unit of Canada’s federal system is seeking a Maintenance Crew Supervisor to lead a team of 10+ staff across campgrounds, roads, and visitor facilities in Jasper National Park. This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires field work during peak periods and strong leadership.

Requirements include secondary education, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, and extensive maintenance experience plus proven supervisory skills for year‑round outdoor work in varied terrain.

Qualifications

• Secondary school completion or equivalent./relevant experience in general maintenance.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
• Experience supervising 10+ maintenance staff.
• Experience in facilities, campground, roads, bridges maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a professional team of 10+ maintenance employees.
• Plan, assign and oversee daily maintenance tasks.
• Ensure work is safe, efficient and Parks Canada compliant.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate crew members.
