Job summary

AtWamco Waterworks in Ontario is hiring a Water Meter Installer to join a hands-on, field-based team. You’ll install, replace, and test Sensus water meters at residential and commercial sites, using handheld devices, GPS, and basic programming tools.

We value reliability, customer service, and teamwork, and provide hands-on training. Outdoor work year-round in varying conditions, with safety as a priority, and support from experienced supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Willingness to work outdoors year-round and in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Active HST number (for contract billing).

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and test Sensus water meters in residential and commercial locations.
• Use handheld computers, GPS, and programming tools to record and verify installation data.
• Interact directly with customers, delivering professional and courteous service every time.
• Complete accurate work orders and uphold Wamco’s safety and quality standards.
• Outdoor job sites in various weather conditions.
• Team-driven environment with strong field and office support.
