Summary
Alderwood House School (London, British Columbia) is looking to hire one (1) Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) for our outdoor early learning program.
Our ECEA positions are entry-level teaching roles in classrooms for children aged 3-5. Candidates must possess an ECEA license, a valid work permit, and be located in the lower mainland. Previous childcare experience is preferred.
This position will be based at our London location at 140-6231 London Road, Richmond, BC V7E 6T3, with nearby offsite locations around Richmond.
Please note that you will be outdoors for 4-9 hours daily, in all weather conditions. If outdoor work is not suitable for you, this position may not be ideal.
Terms of employment
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring an ECEA license at the time of hiring.
Wages
The hourly wage is $20.50. Typical hours are 8:00-16:00, four days per week. Yearly performance-based bonuses of $1-2 per hour may be awarded.
