Overview
Join Rogers as an Outbound Business Sales Consultant and help existing Small-Medium Business customers upgrade and optimize their wireless phone services. You’ll engage clients through inbound and outbound calls, consult on their current packages, and uncover opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services that drive more value.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients via inbound and outbound calls.
- Consult on current wireless packages and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to drive value for customers.
- Manage a structured sales process in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable sales experience. Note: general retail roles without commission-based selling or performance targets are not considered qualifying sales experience.
- Formal training in a recognized sales methodology (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN Selling, Challenger Sales) is considered a strong asset.
- Telecommunications experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in navigating multiple CRM and business systems simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Applies proven sales and retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value.
- Experienced in B2B telecommunications sales.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a structured sales process in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with availability Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST. Additional hours may be worked at your discretion.
- Must reside in one of the following provinces: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Québec, Saskatchewan, Yukon.
- Paid training: Fully certified before you start.
- Flexible remote work: Create your own schedule between Monday and Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay + commission: Earn $61K–$121K+ CAD per year, based on performance.
- Additional hours beyond 20 per week may increase commission earnings; however, they are not compensated at an hourly rate.
