Lightspeed is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join our growing North American/Outbound Sales team. Your role will involve driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads, serving as the first touchpoint between potential customers and the Lightspeed brand. Your work will directly impact Lightspeed’s mission to empower retailers with smart technology.

After years of refining our strategy in a focused market, our Outbound team is in hyper-growth mode, ready to scale. We need a driven, energetic individual passionate about helping entrepreneurs ignite their businesses. If you're results-driven and eager to join a fast-growing company with a global impact, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing
  • Identifying potential customers and introducing our products to decision-makers via phone and email.
  • Engaging and qualifying new leads through various channels, including phone, email, text, and social media.
  • Collaborating with inbound sales teams and managing handoffs to Account Executives for demos.
  • Working with marketing and sales teams to strategize and grow our sales pipeline based on your interactions.
  • Consistently meeting clearly defined monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
What you’ll be bringing
  • Experience in sales or a call center environment, with a strong drive to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including listening, verbal, and written skills.
  • Tech-savviness and ability to explain technology clearly to non-experts.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • An entrepreneurial, agile mindset with a bias toward action and adaptability.
Even better if you have, but not necessary
  • Experience in retail or eCommerce industries.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems or related technology.
