Job description

Our valued Public Sector client requires a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the developments and updates to their IM services.

Our client is currently reviewing their data and Information Management systems and aims to develop a repository for their IM services and data collection management in SharePoint Online. The consultant will assist in developing conceptual models, technical documents, supporting options analysis, translating technical details for functional users, and refining the scope of their conversion delivery.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Participate in or lead working sessions with clients, business analysts, system architects, developers, and IT security resources to elaborate needs and clarify requirements, business models, and processes.
  • Document deliverables using the project’s standard tools such as Dynamics CRM, DevOps, SharePoint Online.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify and document business and system requirements.
  • Elicit requirements alongside the Business Analyst from business partners and document them.
  • Create process and information flow documents.
  • Gather functional requirements from stakeholders across the communications branch.
  • Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Facilitate and lead meetings and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with both the Functional and IT Project Teams.
  • Provide verbal and written briefings to the IT Project Team and internal stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Review the project schedule and recommend revisions as needed.
  • Attend meetings and team briefings to provide status updates and raise issues.

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within the Federal Government (minimum of 2 separate clients).
  • 5+ years supporting the development of IM services.
  • 2+ years creating documents using GC Docs, DevOps, GitHub, SharePoint Online, and M365.
