Job summary

S.I. Systems Ltd. is seeking an Intermediate Production Accounting Analyst to use Petrinex to analyze and resolve complex volumetric data and infrastructure concerns, including reporting-compliance issues. This Calgary-based role requires a hybrid work model.

You will provide production accounting guidance, reconcile Petrinex with AER systems, and collaborate with government and industry partners to ensure information integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Production Accounting, supporting oil and gas production and compliance data.
• Petrinex reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory reporting compliance experience.
• Experience in Production Data Analysis and root-cause analysis for volumetric and reporting discrepancies.
• Experience with Systems/Process Testing for production accounting and reporting changes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide production accounting and regulatory guidance related to Petrinex and infrastructure reporting requirements.
• Analyze production data, reporting, and compliance issues to identify discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Reconcile information between Petrinex and AER systems.
• Assess and prioritize enhancements to Petrinex and AER systems, data, and processes.
• Conduct testing of system and process changes before implementation.
• Collaborate with AER teams, government stakeholders, industry committees, and external partners on information integrity and regulatory changes.
• Manage volumetric reporting noncompliance activities, including correspondence and financial adjustments.
