Job summary

Cosentino Ottawa is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in the Natural Stone Slab Yard. You will prepare merchandise, receive stock, and help ship finished products, working in a multinational environment in Ottawa, Ontario.

You will perform tasks such as loading/unloading, operating a forklift or crane, and ensuring safety SOPs and JSAs are followed, while maintaining a clean, organized workspace and supporting production and distribution as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience.
• 2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc).
• Previous industry experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or container.
• Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane.
• Prepare Metal A-frame return shipments.
• Repair/Rebuild Wooden A-frames for LTL shipments.
• Move waste from containers to dumpsters.
• Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damages.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met.
