In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of client engagements related to GHG emissions. Your key responsibilities will include:

Third-Party Verification:

  • Conduct verification of emissions reports prepared in accordance with provincial regulations.
  • Develop risk assessment and test procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of reported emissions.
  • Conduct client interviews and site visits to understand and document emissions data, data flow, and controls. Demonstrate strong time management skills by efficiently gathering necessary information and ensuring all details are captured accurately to meet client needs and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare verification reports in compliance with provincial regulations and ISO 14064-3.

Emissions Inventory Development:

  • Support the development of GHG inventories for clients, including collecting necessary data and calculating relevant GHG emissions.
  • Calculate direct and indirect GHG emissions (e.g., from electricity consumption and supply chain) and prepare reports according to the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, or other applicable standards.
