Job summary

Inner Circle Agency Inc. is recruiting an Operations Manager to own day-to-day field operations for our Ottawa-area snow removal and landscaping business.

You will oversee crews, drivers, and equipment, ensuring readiness and quality across winter and summer seasons. The role requires proactive leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance snow-event demands with ongoing landscape operations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing hands-on field teams in snow removal, landscaping, or related services.
• Ability to lead, hold staff accountable, and address performance issues.
• Highly organized with strong prioritization in changing environments.
• High personal accountability and follow-through.
• Independent problem-solving with minimal direction from ownership.
• Comfort with technology including CRM, GPS tracking, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate snow removal operations, ensuring crews, drivers, equipment, and resources are organized and ready before and during weather events.
• Oversee landscaping and seasonal field operations during warmer months, ensuring staffing and quality standards.
• Manage field employees and drivers: scheduling, performance, accountability, hiring, and discipline with ownership oversight.
• Own operational priorities from start to finish; proactively identify and address needs to ensure completion.
• Oversee assets: trucks, equipment, preventive maintenance, servicing, and replacement planning.
• Resolve operational issues such as property damage, client concerns, staffing, and weather-related challenges.
• Use GPS, CRM systems, Excel, and email to organize operations and improve efficiency.
