About the role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Tireperson is responsible for repairing, assessing, mounting, and demounting heavy industrial tires. This full-time hourly position offers a 4x4 schedule of days and nights. The role is based at our Elk Valley operations in Sparwood, BC, and requires reliable commuting or relocation.

In this role, you will:
  • Participate in health and safety programs and policies
  • Mount and demount heavy industrial tires
  • Repair industrial tires
  • Conduct tire assessments
  • Operate tire mounting machinery
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Qualified Tireperson
  • Tire Industry Association Certification (Off the Road/Earthmover Training)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with heavy mobile equipment
  • Mining equipment experience is an asset
  • Proficiency in tire repair and installation
  • Knowledge of tire mounting machinery operation
