Qualifications

  • Certified Hand Therapist with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job description

Location: 098-Broadway Physiotherapy
Start date: Immediately
Schedule: Flexible hours on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Status: Permanent Part Time (20 hours per week)
Mandatory requirements: Certified Hand Therapist

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of client's hand and upper extremity function.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
  • Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery, and management strategies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in hand therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.



What You Bring to the Team:

  • Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) required.
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia or Physical Therapists of British Columbia.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
