Job summary

ParaMed’s Occupational Therapist role in Barrie, Ontario offers flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, job sharing and contractor options. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship and real-time support to ensure success.

A $5000 signing bonus is available, and benefits include travel time, mileage reimbursement, health and dental plans, and device support. Remote/hybrid arrangements are not offered.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors to facilitate function and enhance quality of life.
• Analyze environmental factors—physical, cultural, social, and institutional—that impact occupational performance.
• Develop and adjust client-centered plans in partnership with clients and other professionals.
• Use evidence-based problem-solving and judgment to address unique client needs.
• Build rapport with clients and their families, ensuring trust and mutual understanding in the services provided.
• Maintain professional and accurate client records in compliance with ParaMed’s policies and regulatory standards.
