OSHC Assistant Coordinator | Beaconsfield

Part-time

Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today’s children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Our Outside School Hours Care service Beaconsfield is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 30 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

You’ll work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30 am-9:00 am (Rise then Shine) and 3 pm-6:30 pm (Stay and Play). During the school holidays we run Holiday HQ from 6:30 am–6:30 pm.

  • Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
  • Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
  • Communicates clearly and confidentlyWorks well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
  • Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
