Company Description

Job Description

  1. Trace freight, including locating missing freight, checking PODs and B/Ls, and confirming delivery times.
  2. Generate exception reports for customers with dropped trailers and report to shippers by 0900 the next day.
  3. Prepare interline exception reports for partner carriers in the US and Canada, covering both northbound and southbound shipments.
  4. Handle customer and terminal requests via phone and email.
  5. Gather information on shortages, damages, and other issues, and report common problems to the supervisor.
  6. Contact customers to verify damages, shortages, rerouting, or re-delivery, and handle related inquiries.
  7. Obtain return authorizations and re-routing approvals from customers, including confirming contact details and terms.
  8. Perform camera checks for missing freight.
  9. Respond to emails within 45 minutes.
  10. Manage upset customers professionally.

Hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM daily

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer use and typing skills.
  • Strong data entry, listening, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with forklift operation is an asset.
