Job description

Patient Workflow

  • Prep and label casts to initiate fabrication workflow.
  • Fabricate devices on modified casts utilizing the specified materials to achieve desired fit and function.
  • Repair orthotic and prosthetic devices.
  • Ensure outputs meet fitting schedules, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update device job status through administrative channels.
  • Ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment at all times.

Maintenance/Lab space

  • Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day.
  • Perform daily, weekly & monthly maintenance and safety checks on all equipment and tools.
  • Contribute to finding solutions to improve productivity, product quality, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree, diploma or training in a manufacturing-related field
  • Hand skills
  • Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands

  • P&O clinic technical work experience
