City Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is pleased to offer an exceptional Orthodontist Associateship opportunity within our established, high-volume, multi-location practice in the Edmonton area.

This is an ideal position for an orthodontic specialist who is looking for a stable, professionally rewarding associateship in a modern, collaborative, and well-supported clinical environment. Our practice is built around integrated orthodontic and pediatric dental care, allowing our orthodontists to work alongside experienced pediatric dentists, senior orthodontists, highly trained clinical teams, and strong administrative support.

We are seeking a motivated, patient-centered orthodontist who is committed to clinical excellence, strong communication, and delivering outstanding treatment outcomes for children, teens, and adults.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will join a busy, well-established practice with multiple locations, strong referral sources, advanced technology, and an experienced team already in place. This role offers regular daytime working hours, no evenings, no weekends, and the opportunity to develop a long-term career within a respected specialty practice.

Our team includes senior orthodontists and pediatric dentists who are available to provide mentorship, collaboration, and clinical support as you become familiar with the practice systems, patient flow, and treatment philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

The orthodontist associate will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and treating orthodontic conditions in children, adolescents, and adults
  • Developing comprehensive orthodontic treatment plans using fixed appliances, clear aligners, interceptive orthodontics, growth guidance, and other appropriate modalities
  • Providing consultations for new patients and clearly explaining treatment options, timelines, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes
  • Managing active orthodontic cases from initial records through treatment completion and retention
  • Reviewing diagnostic records, including photographs, radiographs, digital scans, and CBCT imaging when indicated
  • Collaborating with pediatric dentists and other providers to coordinate interdisciplinary care
  • Supervising and guiding clinical team members during orthodontic appointments
  • Monitoring treatment progress and making necessary adjustments to achieve excellent functional and esthetic results
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and treatment notes
  • Communicating professionally with patients, parents, referring dentists, and internal team members
  • Supporting a positive, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment across multiple locations
