Pay Rate Per Hour: $100.00 - $350.00

Advertised Job Duties

Orientation Leaders serve as liaisons and support the transition of new & transfer students and their families to the University of the Virgin Islands during New Student Orientation(s).
Must be available on July 11th, 12th, and/or the week of August 11th-17th.

Orientation Leaders will be responsible for the following:

  • Serve as positive role models for new students and their families
  • Participate in Orientation Leader Training
  • Assist with organizing, preparing, implementing, and evaluating the New Student Orientation Program
  • Introduce new students to campus resources, activities, facilities, and rules
  • Lead campus tours, sharing personal stories and highlighting important locations
  • Assist with calling campaigns
  • Use problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Design flyers, posters, and interactive bulletin boards
  • Plan and implement social activities
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
