Organizational Resilience Student

The Opportunity

We are looking for an organizational resilience (e.g., Business Continuity, Emergency Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Health & Safety, or Enterprise Risk) student (4-month term) as part of our annual student recruiting program.

Responsibilities

1. Support the Organizational Resilience team by conducting interviews with business, technical, and field staff to gather insights and information.
2. Take clear and accurate notes during meetings, interviews, and training exercises.
3. Provide administrative support, including assisting with proposal development and drafting responses to RFPs.
4. Support the planning, execution, and follow-up of exercises (tabletop, simulation, etc.).
5. Collect, organize, and analyze data to support risk assessments and continuity planning.
6. Assist in the development of recovery strategies and mitigation plans.
7. Help update and maintain response plans, procedures, and related documentation.

About You and Your Qualifications

1. Enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university degree program related to organization resilience (e.g., Business Continuity, Emergency Management, IT Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Health & Safety, or Enterprise Risk).
2. Health, safety, and wellness are critical to you.
3. You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to various audiences, including leadership.
5. Demonstrate sound business judgment and an understanding of organizational operations.
6. Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
7. Professional, dependable, and take pride in producing high-quality work.
8. Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
