An international volunteer organization is seeking a dedicated individual for a remote volunteer placement in Iringa, Tanzania. The role involves assessing an organization’s operations and designing sustainable business models. Candidates should possess a relevant degree and at least 4 years of experience in organizational development. We seek individuals committed to supporting marginalized groups, including LGBTQIA+ communities.
This project, funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), aims to improve the well-being of marginalized populations, especially women and girls, in developing countries, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.
Envirocare is a non-governmental organization advocating for environmental justice, human rights, and gender equality both nationally and internationally.
Support package includes basic living expenses, accommodation, health insurance, travel costs, pre-departure training, ongoing support, and additional benefits for extended service.
If shortlisted, you will need to confirm travel documents, provide references, complete assessments, obtain police clearance, medical clearance, and be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Participants will receive training to prepare for their placement, including online resources, training, and support from a Volunteering Mobilization Advisor.

Applicants should be aware of implications related to travel, residency, and citizenship, and are responsible for researching these issues with immigration authorities. Canadian Permanent Residents should coordinate with immigration authorities before traveling.
