Our client, a major player in Canada's energy sector, is undergoing significant cross-functional and enterprise-wide transformation. They are seeking a Senior Organizational Change Manager to lead and execute change strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and long-term sustainment.

This is a 6-month contract opportunity, located in Downtown Calgary (Hybrid, 3 days on-site).

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Organizational Change Management (OCM) efforts for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Design and implement integrated change strategies including communication, training, coaching, sponsorship, and resistance management.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments.
  • Collaborate with HR, Learning & Development, Talent, and Project teams to ensure alignment and delivery of holistic OCM solutions.
  • Coach sponsors, leaders, and delivery teams on effective change practices.
  • Monitor adoption metrics and ensure sustainability of new processes and behaviors.
  • Provide clear reporting and progress updates to leadership teams.
  • Manage OCM resources, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
  • Champion OCM best practices and contribute to the evolution of the organization's change methodology.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience delivering OCM within structured methodologies.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to quickly synthesize complex information and drive clarity.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
  • Change Management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) is an asset
  • Experience in the Safety, Energy, Power, or Gas sectors is preferred.
