Job description

The position reports to the Manager, Organizational Change Management in Human Resources & Safety. The OCM Consultant will be assigned to lead the OCM work on a number of SAP projects in the Technology & Security project portfolio. Assignments may also include leading the change work on other technology initiatives or providing consulting support to lower change risk projects.

Desired Experience

The senior resource must have experience working on SAP and other technology initiatives.

  • Expertise in change management methodologies, change strategies and best practices.
  • Comfort and effectiveness in working with senior and executive leaders.
  • Excellent negotiation, influence, mediation and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and also to collaborate with project team and business stakeholders.
  • The ability to work effectively and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and all areas of the organization.
  • The ability to uncover underlying needs and issues.
  • The ability to identify issues, risks, and opportunities within the project and to influence the project team and business in solutions and risk responses.

Responsibilities

As the Change Consultant assigned to projects, the candidate will :

  • Develop actionable and targeted change management strategies and appropriate change plans and lead their execution in consultation with the Sponsors, project teams, and business stakeholders in alignment with the OCM team's processes, tools, and templates.
  • Manage and maintain change plans to respond and react to new and changing needs.
  • Act as a liaison with the project team and business areas to ensure the business is ready to accept and sustain the change.
  • Perform an impact analysis of the change to inform the development and execution of change plans.
  • Provide timely monitoring and reporting on status and effectiveness of change management plans to the project sponsor, project manager, and requesting leaders and stakeholders.
  • Complete required deliverables and tasks in alignment with project and business timelines.
  • Complete required reporting as part of the Organizational Change Team and provide regular updates on project status to the Manager, OCM.
