Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in remote operations is seeking an Organic Search Manager to own SEO strategy for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients, shaping the technical roadmap, content priorities and the ranking narrative.

You will lead with a strategic voice, coordinating with writers and AI to produce drafts and guiding campaigns. You will communicate with US clients on live calls and report progress in GA4 and Search Console.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run audits and done fixes yourself.
• Proficient with GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO roadmap and optimization plan.
• Collaborate with writers and AI to produce drafts.

As Organic Search Manager you own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients: the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
