Job summary

Careers Nri3pl is seeking a Narrow Aisle Forklift/Equipment Operator in Brampton, Ontario. The role involves order picking, replenishment, and supporting all departments to meet goals.

You will work with products from clients in the active lifestyle space and must be reliable, accurate, and efficient with safety as a cornerstone. The job requires operating forklifts, order/cherry picker, reach truck, and other warehouse machinery, plus scanning and cycle counting.

Qualifications

• 3+ months forklift experience on an order/cherry picker preferred but not a must
• Must have physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, walk/stand for extended periods, climb ladders/stairs, and tolerate dusty/noisy environments
• Must be able to learn our basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, order/cherry picker, reach truck, and electric pallet-jacks
• Receive, replenish, shipping, scanning, and cycle counting along with other general warehouse duties
• Follow NRI safety rules, procedures, security protocol and SOPs
• Keep work and storage areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition at all times
• Support staff purchase and staff benefits programs

Job description

As a Narrow Aisle Forklift/Equipment Operator, you will play an important part of the team by assisting in order picking, let downs, replenishment and supporting all departments in meeting their goals. You'll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

Shift: Monday - Friday 10:00PM - 6:30AM

• Ability to learn our basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• Trustworthy and moral character

The Must Haves:

• 3+ months of forklift experience on an order/cherry picker is preferable but not a must
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
