Job summary

Distribution Stox in Ottawa, ON, is hiring a Warehouse Handler to operate a stand-up Raymond/Crown forklift, manage tires and merchandise, and keep the warehouse organized and safe.

This temporary role offers 40 hours per week with overtime, a starting hourly rate of CAD 21.75 plus Peak Bonus 2$ (October 19–December 11), and avenues for referral rewards, free parking, and career growth within Unimax’s tire and wheel distribution network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience driving a stand-up Raymond/Crown lift
• Must not be afraid of heights as the lift goes up to 30’ high
• Be in excellent physical shape and able to lift heavy loads
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fit to work in a tire warehouse

Responsibilities

• Drive a lift truck
• Manage incoming and outgoing tires and merchandise
• Store tires and merchandise in the correct warehouse locations
• Prepare shipments for different customers
• Fill out documents for incoming tires and merchandise
• Keep an inventory of tires and merchandise
• Adjust the location of different products
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow health and safety policies
• Participate in general warehouse maintenance

Hourly rate of pay : starting at $21.75 + PEAK BONUS 2$ (October 19th to December 11th)

Work schedule: Monday to Friday ( 40 hours per week) with overtime possibility

Job Description
