Job description

Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Warehouse Order Picker for our 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, Ontario! • Starting wage of $19.43/hour
• An additional $2/hour for hours worked between 9:00pm - 6:00am
• Automatic milestone wage increases at 1040, 2080, 4160 hours, and annually thereafter

Job Highlights:

• Pick orders to supply over 270 stores across Canada
• Pile boxes onto skids ensuring safety and accuracy
• Lift boxes weighing 1-50 pounds, following safety guidelines
• Operate an electric double pallet truck safely and efficiently
• Match skids with outbound license plate numbers
• Ensure order accuracy and timely shipment
• Maintain a clean work area
• Support other departments as needed

Job Requirements:

• Operate safely in accordance with OSHA and WHMIS standards
• Stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift throughout the shift
• Work effectively in a noisy, fast-paced environment
• Be punctual, adaptable, and detail-oriented
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Assets:

• Experience with Voice Picking or Manhattan WMS
• Experience driving electric pallet trucks
• Warehouse experience
• Class G2 or higher driver’s license

Schedule:

Saturday to Tuesday, 3:00pm - 1:30am
