Qualifications

• Experience as an order picker is an asset.
• Ability to lift 70lbs frequently throughout the day.
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods.

Summary of responsibilities

• Use pick sheets to pick and pack goods for customer orders ensuring accuracy (prepare shipments)
• Use packing slips to put away receivables to proper locations ensuring accuracy
• Operate forklifts, loaders and other heavy machinery necessary to complete tasks
• Shipping/Receiving clerical tasks (ie; emailing shipments to forwarders)
• Organizing warehouse/ylocations
• Other tasks as deemed necessary by management
• Maintain company equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor/manager
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and quality standards

Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Experience as an order picker (an asset)
• Some knowledge of ERP systems is preferred
• Highly organized and great attention to detail
• Ability to lift 70lbs frequently throughout the day
• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods
