The Role

IGI is seeking a detail-oriented Order Fulfilment Coordinator to join our Customer Service team.

The Order Fulfilment Coordinator is responsible for managing customer contacts and ensuring optimal support for all accounts within a given territory. The Order Fulfilment Coordinator will act as a liaison between the Company's internal departments and the customer base to centralize all communication and information flow and to ensure our customer’s needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and accurately process telephone and electronically transmitted orders from internal and external customers through the computerized order entry system.
  • Answer inquiries from external and internal customers on product availability, pricing and the current status of any order.
  • Use JDE1 to effectively manage all shipments for the customer.
  • Respond to unexpected service situations by combining industry knowledge and inquiry expertise to satisfy the customer’s requirements.
  • Build tangible business relationships with key individuals within customer organizations aimed at developing long term partnerships.
  • Work with customers to ensure forecasts are accurate and orders are received in a timely fashion to meet Lead Time requirements.
  • Be proactive to optimize our opportunities and minimize/anticipate problems with accounts – develop relationships and work closely with other IGI functional groups (i.e. Sales, Marketing, Credit, Research & Development, Operations, Sales Order Management Team). When issues of product and/or service arise, work with other functions to resolve to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Ensure all customer master files are accurate and current. Customer specific data must be accurate in JDE1 to ensure their service needs are met.
  • Ensure profitable customer support by understanding the conditions of sale (taxes, margin, volume, delivery) and executing customer’s requirements within our policies and procedures.
  • Participate in identification of process improvement to assist with meeting and/or exceeding performance goals.
  • Participate in training opportunities; further develop personal skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis.
  • All other projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 years customer service or equal inside sales experience.
  • Bilingual French an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail orientated with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with an enterprise resource package - Order Management System, preferably JD Edwards.
