Job summary

The Home Depot Canada in Oakville is seeking an Order Picker to support store operations by gathering merchandise, packing orders, labeling, and preparing them for delivery. You will work within the Service Desk team and handle basic customer order transactions while ensuring accurate, efficient fulfillment.

Responsibilities include following the GET model for customer service, assembling product mixes to fill orders, loading delivery vehicles, and maintaining labeling accuracy to prevent damage

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or asset
• 1–2 years retail or distribution experience considered an asset
• Knowledge of operating reach trucks and order picker machines is an asset

Responsibilities

• Ensures Customer Satisfaction by following GET model: Greeting, Engaging, Thanking the customer
• Gathering product mix to fill orders in a timely manner and using the Order Fulfillment Application
• Loading delivery vehicles and handling curbside orders, ensuring safety and proper packing and labeling of items
• Maintain accurate packing and labeling to prevent damage and ensure readiness for transport
