Job summary

Sport Chek in Vancouver is seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate to ensure orders are fulfilled promptly, keep the stockroom organized, and assist customers. This role supports in-store operations and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Entry-level to part-time positions are available with a flexible schedule, including weekends, and opportunities for growth. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Fitness enthusiasm and active living interest.
• Understanding of retail inventory, stockroom management, shipping/receiving and loss prevention policies.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 80 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Knowledge of sporting equipment is preferred.
• Basic computer experience is required.
• Criminal record check required.

Job Description

As an Order Fulfillment Associate, you will become the heart of our store; making sure orders are fulfilled, maintain a clean stockroom, and helping our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customer orders are filled promptly following quality standards
• Ensure all loss prevention and shipping policies are maintained and followed
• Review Distributed Order Management (DOM) reports with store management
• Maintain stockroom(s) and shipping receiving area to Sport Chek standard
• Ensure DOM supplies are in stock
• Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Passion for active, healthy living and sports
• A good understanding of retail inventory, stockroom management, shipping receiving, and loss prevention systems and policies
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Physically capable of lifting (up to 50 pounds) and moving heavy containers (up to 80 pounds)
• Flexible schedule (early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends)
• Knowledge of sporting equipment is essential
• Must have basic computer experience
• Must successfully complete a criminal record check

Our typical hiring range is between $18.25 and $20.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
