Description

Aurora Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking a skilled and compassionateFull-Time Surgical Assistantto join our team! Y ou will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. If you have a positive attitude, avoid drama and love dentistry and enjoy working with fun professionals, we would consider you to join our Aurora OMS Dental family!

Schedule:

• Mon-8:30-4pm
• Tues-8:30-4pm
• Wed- Off
• Thur-8:30-4pm
• Fri-7:30-2:00pm

Compensation

• $23-$26 (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Review pre-op and post-op instructions with patients.
• Review patient health history and updates via the practice management software.
• Prepare and break down surgical tray and operatories

Qualifications and Required Skills for this Role:

• Must be friendly and be able to maintain a smile and positive attitude in high-pressured environments.
• Superior organizational skills and be able to take initiative.
• Must be a team player and work well with others.
• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable transportation.

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months surgical experience or relevant experience in a dental/medical profession.
