Position Overview:

The Oral Surgery Office Manager at Airdrie Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring exceptional administrative and patient care support. Reporting directly to the Practice Owner, the Oral Surgery Office Manager oversees the coordination of staff, scheduling, and office workflows to maintain the high standards of service and professionalism the practice is known for.

This role includes the management of office resources, patient communications, and adherence to clinical and operational protocols. The Oral Surgery Office Manager plays a key role in fostering a welcoming environment for patients and staff while supporting the delivery of quality oral and maxillofacial surgical services. They collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure seamless integration of administrative and clinical functions, enabling the practice to provide patient-centered care effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is an asset.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in administrative or office management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of human resource management, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Expertise in scheduling, productivity management, and resolving scheduling conflicts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, payroll processing, accounts receivable/payable, and vendor relations.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, accreditation requirements in Alberta, Alberta employment standards, Occupational Health & Safety regulations, and human rights legislation.
