A leading consulting firm is seeking an Oracle Fusion Change Management Consultant to support a major ERP transformation for a large utility client. The role involves leading change management strategies, communications, and training plans to enhance user adoption in Halifax. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in change management within the utility sector and a strong background in Oracle implementations.
We’re currently seeking an experienced ORACLE FUSION CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT to support our client, Emera — a large Canadian utility company — in delivering a major ERP transformation initiative. This role is focused on leading Change Management workstreams associated with an Oracle Fusion upgrade, including communications, training strategy, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing large-scale change efforts, preferably within the utility or energy sector, and be able to work in complex, fast-moving environments recovering from operational disruption.
Location: Primarily onsite in Halifax, Nova Scotia (hybrid or remote flexibility may be considered for highly qualified candidates)
Start Date: August 4 2025 or earlier.
Duration: 12-month contract (with potential for extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM AST
Availability: May require occasional travel or after-hours work during project milestones
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass standard background screening
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Change, Business, Communications, or a related field
Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
Utility, energy, or critical infrastructure sector experience preferred
Prosci Change Management Certification
PMP or equivalent project delivery training
Communications or Instructional Design credentials are considered assets
Experience with transformation programs in post-incident recovery environments
Familiarity with ERP adoption strategies and organizational readiness assessments
Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills across technical and business teams
Ability to produce high-quality communications, training artifacts, and executive reporting
Track record of working collaboratively under pressure and navigating resistance to change
End-to-end change management strategy aligned to Oracle Fusion rollout
Training and communication plans tailored to user groups
Stakeholder maps, readiness assessments, and adoption tracking tools
Executive dashboards and change impact assessments
Post-go-live support and knowledge transition documentation
This 12-month consulting engagement supports a high-visibility Oracle Fusion program at one of Atlantic Canada’s largest utilities. It’s a chance to drive real impact in a critical system upgrade and help shape user adoption strategy from the ground up. The role requires onsite presence in Halifax, with some flexibility for exceptional candidates.
