Job summary

Cognizant in Mississauga, Ontario invites an experienced Oracle Exadata professional to join a hybrid Canada role. You will architect and administer Exadata environments, manage RAC/ASM/RMAN/Data Guard, and drive HA/DR strategies across platforms.

You will lead deployments, tune performance with AWR/ASH/ADDM, and collaborate across teams to ensure secure, scalable database services. 8–12+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering Oracle Exadata environments, including patching, performance tuning, capacity planning, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, Exadata Storage Servers, CellCLI, and DCLI.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, including multitenant databases, advanced compression, and resource management.
• Experience designing and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Proven experience in database infrastructure architecture, including storage, networking, and operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance diagnostics skills utilizing AWR, ASH, ADDM, and SQL tuning.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and automation using Shell, Python, or Ansible.

Responsibilities

Location: Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid) 3 days in office

Experience: 8-12 + years

Key Responsibilities

Salary And Other Compensation

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Compensation: we are offering an annual salary between $69,750-$109,000
