What you will do
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Oracle DevOps Fusion Technical Lead to join our dynamic team based in Toronto, ON! The ideal candidate will have a deep technological understanding of Oracle Fusion Implementations covering ERP and CRM modules. We are looking for candidates who have the following experience:

How you will do it
- Provide technical services to the Functional team for Canada Security Oracle Fusion ERP Application and execute UAP and Compliance activities.
- Support other Oracle Fusion ERP systems within JCI as part of the Global Oracle DevOps Fusion Technical Value Stream.
- Lead the development and support of Fusion extensions in the assigned value stream.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Develop technical specifications based on business requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of systems, including implementation.
- Design and develop process improvements within the technology environment, ahead of migration activities.
- Coordinate data governance methodologies within our regulated environment.
- Implement DevOps practices to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance for high availability and minimal downtime during post-go-live support.
- Stay updated with the latest Fusion technologies and DevOps tools.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Manage project timelines and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical configurations and extensions supporting the solution in the assigned value stream.
- Analyze Oracle Fusion enhancements/change requests and support activities pipeline.
- Provide solution proposals, design, cost, and timeline estimations to business engagement partners.
- Plan work and prioritize backlogs in collaboration with BPO/GPOs, Delivery Leads, and Oracle Solution Architects.
- Plan resources based on approved backlogs for enhancements and support tickets.
- Coordinate with other Value stream leads and support teams.
- Manage scheduling, reviews, and approvals for production deployments.
- Optimize and manage backlog of enhancements and support tickets.
- Drive continuous improvements to reduce support tickets and automate manual activities.
- Follow incident management processes for critical issues.
- Share Value stream KPIs with global and regional DevOps leaders.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Systems
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion and EBS ERPs
- Proven track record in delivery and support of Fusion ERP and CRM configurations and extensions
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion functional configuration for initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and CRM
- Excellent communication skills with Fusion teams and business audiences
- Strong collaboration, teamwork, influence, and relationship-building skills
- Client-facing and internal communication skills
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking
Preferred:
- Oracle Cloud certifications
- Experience with Agile methodologies
