Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking BilingualOracle Cloud Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient database and cloud architecture solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle technologies, DevOps, and microservices, with a proven track record in modernizing and streamlining complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement database and data technology architectures aligned with enterprise strategies.

• Organize and optimize database access to improve performance, scalability, and security.

• Conduct high-level impact analyses and provide strategic recommendations on data and database technologies.

• Lead the implementation and deployment of DevOps solutions to support CI/CD pipelines and automation.

• Architect and develop RESTful microservices to simplify and automate consumption of technical solutions.

• Apply best practices in software development, including Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and TDD.

• Oversee the use and implementation of Oracle Database 12c and higher, including Multitenant, RAC, and ASM.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to development and operations teams.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in information technology.

• 6+ years of experience in data technology and database environment architecture within the last 10 years.

• Successfully completed 2 projects involving database access organization.

• 3+ years of experience conducting high-level studies such as impact analysis and strategic recommendations.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience deploying DevOps solutions.

• 5+ years of practical experience with Oracle technologies:

• Oracle Database 12c and higher

• Oracle Multitenant architecture

• Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)

• ASM (Automatic Storage Management)

• Must be Bilingual French/English

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of cloud computing and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
