Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Oracle APEX.
• Utilize Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) to develop RESTful APIs for backend integration.
• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications, including developing programming specifications, writing code, and conducting unit tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising from the use and operation of software.
• Provide technical assistance during implementation, conversion, and migration processes.
• Ensure application security and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.

Responsibilities:

• Develop applications using Oracle APEX with features such as interactive reports, charts, and dynamic actions.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Manage data modeling, SQL, and PL/SQL development within Oracle databases.
• Optimize application performance and participate in performance tuning.
• Ensure application compliance with security standards.
• Evaluate legacy applications and recommend modern architecture solutions.
• Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
• Provide user and system documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
• Participate in design walkthroughs and post-implementation support.
• Ensure compliance with AODA standards and related regulations.

Requirement/Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience in application development using Oracle APEX.
• Proven experience with advanced APEX features including interactive components.
• Solid understanding of Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Strong experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience in cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Understanding of security best practices for web applications.
• Experience with performance tuning and solution architecture assessments.
• Experience with middleware, gateways, and installation scripts.

Should Have:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and update work/deliverables in project tracking tools (e.g., Kanban/DevOps).
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
