About the Role

Our Practice

We have very close links with local GPs and Hospital consultant ophthalmologists, and provide a NHS emergency acute ophthalmology service(APCOS) looking after GP surgeries and their patients across the whole of Kent & Medway CCG.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Optometrist to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding patient care. As an integral member of our practice, you will:

Prioritise Patient Care: Spend the necessary time to thoroughly understand and address each patient’s visual needs.

Innovate and Improve: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance our services and introduce innovative solutions.

Engage with the Community: Act as an ambassador for our brand and the optometry profession within the local community, educating others about the benefits of eye care.

Test Times: 30-minute test times across 2 consulting rooms.

Advanced Equipment: Utilisation of state-of-the-art testing equipment, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Slit Lamp, Tonometer, Hospital Standard Fields, Fundus Photography

Team Environment: Collaborate with a supportive team of six professionals.
