  • Solid understanding of product allocation, lifting processes, and terminal operations.
  • Proficiency with optimization tools such as DTN, SAP IBP, HAL, TMS, and MarketView
  • Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Power BI reports or similar data visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Application Information Systems, Automation Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between logistics operations, product supply, D&IT, and technology vendors to support optimization system operations such as DTN, IBP, and MarketView.
  • Manage product allocation and lifting processes in DTN, including balancing volumes, verifying lifts, and resolving carrier issues.
  • Coordinate monthly volume uploads from SAP IBP to DTN and update secondary product volumes.
  • Maintain data integrity across DTN and IBP systems to support the lifting and monthly forecast processes.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and presentations for allocation, demand tracking, and forecast reporting.
  • Support MarketView processes, including weekly pricing data preparation and interface management.
  • Act as the primary contact for incident resolution, change requests, and system enhancements related to optimization systems.
  • Perform routine data cleanup tasks (e.g., consignee maintenance) to prevent allocation issues.
  • Monitor and manage seasonal configurations such as biofuel (B5) lifting settings.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance allocation and other optimization-related business processes (e.g., E15 rollout, supply reliability initiatives).

Location and other Key Details:

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W
