New Look in Ottawa seeks a licensed optician to deliver expert optical services and customer care. You will adjust lenses, provide product recommendations, and ensure comfort with new glasses while upholding high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed optician with provincial registration in Canada.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a meticulous approach to fit and adjust lenses.
• Able to explain use, care and product options clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional acts reserved for an optician.
• Adjust contact lenses (installation, removal, delivery) with guidance on use.
• Analyze lenses and frames to ensure quality and conformity.
• Adjust frames and deliver glasses to ensure customer comfort.
• Act as ambassador for an environmentally committed local company.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional acts reserved for an optician;
• Adjust contact lenses (installation, removal, delivery) while offering sound advice on use and products available to customers;
• Ensure the quality and conformity of the products sold by analyzing lenses and frames, cutting and repairs;
• Ensure the comfort of our customers with their new glasses by adjusting the frames and delivering their glasses;
• Be an ambassador for a company committed to the environment and its local community.
