Job summary

IRIS The Visual Group in Chilliwack, BC is seeking an Optician to join our well-established community clinic. You will work alongside career Licensed Opticians and Ophthalmic staff, with a focus on mentorship and patient-centered care.

The role includes collaboration with a large team of Optometrists and access to a new edging lab for same-day service. We offer stable full-time hours, competitive compensation, benefits, CE support, and the loyalty of a growing patient base from day one.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optician required with current BC license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a large team of Optometrists on a broad scope of optometry.
• Dispense eyewear following clinical judgment and patient needs.
• Utilize the on-site edging lab to provide same-day service.

Following the retirement of our long-time Optician after 37 years, an opportunity has opened to join our well-established clinic in Chilliwack. We are a community clinic where patients are known by name and many families have trusted us for generations.
