Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in a related field and 3+ years of optical testing experience, with MATLAB/Python and VOA/OSA/PNA instrumentation. Bilingual English/French is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Optical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of optical testing experience, preferably in a fiber-optic environment.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and/or Python.
• Experience with test instruments such as VOA, OSA, PNA and similar equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize automated test systems for optical components.
• Provide technical expertise in instrument selection and test station design.
• Drive yield improvement, reduce test time, and cost optimization.
• Lead transfer, deployment, and ongoing support of test systems at manufacturing partner sites.
